The Country Club of Scranton is proud to feature an original 18-hole course designed by renowned Golf Course Architect, Walter Travis, in 1927. The course, known for its timeless design, was complemented by the addition of the “New Nine” in 1988, created by Dr. Michael Hurdzan. Both courses are distinguished by their large, undulating greens, offering a distinctive challenge to golfers of all levels.
The club boasts 27 championship holes spread across three nines—The Pines, The Willows, and The Falls. These nines combine to form three unique eighteen-hole courses: The Old, North, and South. Each layout presents a wide variety of challenges, while remaining forgiving in key areas, making the course equally appealing to both low and high handicap players. Additional facilities include a multi-tiered putting green, a practice range with target greens, and a dedicated pitching & chipping area.
