Types of Membership

Senior

Any person 40 years or older is eligible for election to Senior Membership.

Corporate

Any person over the age of 30 is eligible for election to corporate membership. The first corporate membership is transferable between executives, pending the Board of Directors of the Country Club of Scranton’s approval.

Intermediate

Any person 21-39 years old is eligible for election to Intermediate membership.

Non-Resident

Any person 21 years or older is eligible for election to non-resident membership.

This membership type has limited golf privileges.

Non-resident membership has two tiers:

  • Non-Resident I: Shall be persons not residing or having residence or a place of business within 100 miles radius of the club house.
  • Non-Resident II: Shall be persons not residing or having residence or a place of business within 45 miles radius of the club house.

Social

Any person 21 years or older is eligible for election to Social Membership.

Social membership privilages include:

  • Family pool usage
  • Dining privileges
  • Club events

Legacy Non-Resident

  • Qualifies any child or grandchild of a current or deceased golf member in good standing to be eligible.
  • Primary residence must be outside 75 miles of club
  • Club sponsored Social Event privileges
  • No food minimum
  • Must be 21 and older
  • Limited to ten rounds of golf per year not including tournament play
  • No League privileges
  • Pool privileges
  • A la cart restaurant, banquet privileges
  • No voting rights
  • No spousal or children privileges normal guest fee will apply to family members.

Social Associate

  • Golf privileges on the Falls nine hole course only
  • Must be 21 and older
  • Pool privileges
  • A la Carte restaurant, banquet privileges
  • Club Sponsored Social Event privileges
  • Spousal and children privileges are half of current fees for regular membership
  • No Tournament or league play(except as a guest of a current golf member)
  • No voting rights
  • Food minimum
